Dr. Loretta Sarpong

Head, Women’s Desk at Ecobank Ghana Limited

Dr. Loretta has been working in the Banking Industry for 2 decades now, rising through retail banking, corporate banking, and marketing/relationship banking and for the past 8 years into branch management. She enjoys helping solve business problems, loves watching the business grow with her input and she enjoys relating with people!

 

She is currently the head of the Women’s Desk, concentrating on:
— Businesses owned by Women
— Businesses managed by Women
— Businesses with 30% or more as female employees or even in shareholding
— Businesses manufacturing/ producing for women.

 

She assists in providing any of these categories with both financial and non-financial support.

 

She wants to be a growing and contributing human being, impacting not only this generation but the next one to come, so she keeps learning and adding on to knowledge, seeking to be a better version of herself!

 

She is equally a Toastmaster, seeking to improve my leadership and communication skills on daily basis!

 

Dr. Loretta read Bsc Planning ( Development Policy Option) at Kwame Nkrumah University, MBA at Paris Graduate School of Management, and holds a Ph.D. in Management from the Texila American University.

 

She is a member of the International Professional Management Association (UK), a member of the Chartered Institute of Administration and Management Ghana, CIAMG, a member of the Association of the Certified Chartered Economists (ACCE – US).
