Ekta Nathoo

Country Representative (Australia)

Ekta Nathoo is the Country Representative of Women in Finance and Investment Network (WIFIN) in Australia. She is responsible for the strategic leadership and direction of the network in Australia. She is responsible to formulate country strategy and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) development, quality programme development and implementation as well as building sustainable country operations.

 

Ekta currently holds a senior Accountant position at Flinder Financial Accountants. She is responsible for maintaining and balancing accounts by verifying, allocating and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies. She has also been acting as the main point of contact and building rapport with a portfolio of clients. Previously, she worked at Fogarty Partners as a senior Accountant and Grant Thornton Australia (GTA) as a Private Advisory Associate. Prior to working at GTA, she interned in the Corporate Tax Department at Deloitte (Australia) and in the Core Assurance Department at Ernst & Young (Australia).

 

Ekta graduated from the University of Western Australia (UWA) with a BCom in Accounting and Finance. She is also a holder of the Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) designation from The Tax Institute in Australia. She further successfully achieved her Chartered Accountancy designation from the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. Driven to grow as a professional, Ekta aims to branch out into a role whereby she will be heavily involved to make a positive impact in the accounting and financial functions of an organization. In her free time, Ekta enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
